For the last 3 years, Florida Fury/RCG's main focus was always Call of Duty. From Infinite Warfare to Black Ops 4, the brand's main focus was to compete in the CWL (now CDL). But times are changing, and a new era in the story of The Florida Fury is beginning. Today, we are officially announcing our plans for the new FPS from League of Legends developer, Riot Games, "Valorant".
Starting with the April 7th release of the Closed Beta, we will be monitoring potential talent to join us whether its competition or content. "We are very excited for the closed beta of Valorant," says Wolfgod, CEO of Florida Fury. "These next couple days of closed beta will get us a closer look at who we would like to join our family, and, also, host any online tournaments at launch." Valorant is expected to fully launch sometime Summer 2020, but for now, tune into Twitch streams and enjoy Valorant.
